What is Ginseng Extract?

Ginseng extract is a product made from dried stems and leaves of Panax ginseng. Ginsenoside is the main active ingredient. It also contains many ingredients needed by the human body, such as sugars, proteins, amino acids, vitamins and various trace elements.  Ginsenosides are the main active ingredients of ginseng extract, and it is made from panax ginseng. Ginsenosides can be classified into three groups based on the chemical structure of aglycones: the protopanaxadiol group (e.g., Rb1, Rb2, Rb3, Rc, and Rd); the protopanaxatriol group (e.g., Re, Rf, Rg1, and Rg2); and the oleanane group (e.g., Ro). Panax ginseng extract ginsenosides are light yellow powder with slight odor and bitter taste.
